Services
The Father Tracy Advocacy Center provides a variety of services to our community, primarily case management and street outreach. Our staff are community experts on important public health topics like COVID-19 vaccines and Opioid Use Disorder treatment.
The Center provides the following services free of charge to any members of our community:
Access to Treatment
We are passionate about helping individuals experiencing addiction connect to treatment and detox resources in the Rochester community. Stop in to talk about your next steps.
Clothing Center
Our clothing center has items for adult men and women, and includes: coats, jackets, shirts, gloves, hats, and socks.
Translation
Our staff can assist with translation from Spanish to English or English to Spanish.
Coffee & Snacks
We are happy to provide coffee, water bottles, and snacks like PB&J sandwiches.
Housing
We can provide assistance with finding emergency, temporary, and permanent housing.
Benefit Navigation
We can help you apply for benefits such as SNAP/Food Stamps, Temporary Financial Assistance, and Social Security.
Healthcare Connections
We can help with health insurance applications, understanding the healthcare system, and provide referrals to our healthcare partners to address any health needs. We also offer onsite care from our partner Trillium Health on Thursdays from 12-4pm, and on-call support (as available) through our street medic team, Health Reach.
Employment Help
We are happy to help people find jobs, fill out employment applications, and provide referrals. Through our FTAC Fellows program, we provide workforce training and stipends to 9 individuals who are actively dealing with homelessness and substance use disorder.
Syringe Disposal
We can safely dispose of used syringes.
